Thousand Oaks has one, so does Oak Park. In fact, there are community gardens throughout Ventura County and surrounding areas. It's time Simi Valley has its own community garden. It will soon! The 2.3-acre garden project on Sinaloa Road is in the works but money needs to be raised to complete the garden. Volunteers are holding a fundraiser on June 17 (this Friday) 11am-8pm at Sharky's in Simi. Here's the flyer. Bring it to Sharky's, order lunch or dinner and the garden will receive 20% of the proceeds. Agromin is a proud sponsor of the garden. We think it will be a great addition to Simi. We hope you join in the effort too!
