Agromin CEO Bill Camarillo recently attended the 37th
Annual Trash Bash in Sacramento. The event is put on each year by the California
Refuse Recycling Council. Over 300 members of the waste haulers and recycling
communities from around the state attended to learn about the latest issues
facing the industry and the multitude of new recycling laws including those
that require diverting 75 percent of the state’s waste from landfills by 2020
and requiring all commercial entities to recycle.
Recyclers are facing challenging, yet exciting, times ahead. The recycling industry is at the forefront of creating a cleaner, sustainable environment for California.
