US Composting Council has announced a call for entries for the 2016
International Compost Awareness Week Poster Contest. The contest runs
September 1 through November 14, 2015 and is open to three contest
divisions: grades 3-7, grades 8-12, and college-adult. All
applicants are asked to share their artistic interpretation of compost and its
ties to soil health, incorporating this year's theme, Compost--The Soil and
contest submissions must arrive via email to the USCC by Midnight Saturday,
Nov. 14, 2015 to be eligible.
The winning poster will be used to promote International Compost
Awareness Week, May 1-7, 2016.
