For over four years, Agromin has been helping the American Heart Association
get the message out to kids about the value of eating healthy and nutritious
food. Through the AHA's Teaching Gardens program, AHA staff show kids that healthy food can taste good while being good
for you. The goal is to reduce childhood obesity and set in place lifelong
healthy eating habits.
kindergarten through fifth grade plant seeds, care for plants and then harvest
vegetables in their own AHA school gardens.
Agromin delivers its Premium Blend soil
mix to over 40 elementary schools in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Kids love getting their hands dirty in the
soil as they watch how their hard work results in wonderful-tasting vegetables.
